About the role
The Recertification Specialist ensures compliance with section 8 and LIHTC policies by coordinating and monitoring annual recertifications.
Responsibilities
- Process initial, annual, and interim recertifications
- Calculate rents
- Identify income discrepancies
- Review applicant eligibility
- Notify residents of upcoming recertifications
- Prepare verification forms
- Maintain resident files
- Correct income discrepancies
Requirements
- A high school diploma
- At least one year of related experience
- Property management knowledge
- Certifications such as TCS, COS, or HCCP
