About the role

The Recertification Specialist ensures compliance with section 8 and LIHTC policies by coordinating and monitoring annual recertifications.

Responsibilities

  • Process initial, annual, and interim recertifications
  • Calculate rents
  • Identify income discrepancies
  • Review applicant eligibility
  • Notify residents of upcoming recertifications
  • Prepare verification forms
  • Maintain resident files
  • Correct income discrepancies

Requirements

  • A high school diploma
  • At least one year of related experience
  • Property management knowledge
  • Certifications such as TCS, COS, or HCCP

Qualifications

  • Computer proficiency
  • Attention to detail

Skills
