Receptionist Scheduler - Radiology

About the role

The Receptionist Scheduler at Windham Hospital is responsible for performing a variety of duties to include greeting patients, scheduling and coordinating patient procedures for Radiology according to department protocols, and ensuring an environment that promotes a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of experience in a hospital or health care related field, preferably in radiology
• Two (2) years or greater of experience in a hospital or health care related field, preferably in radiology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good verbal and telephone skills
• Advanced computer skills including data entry
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and CPT codes
• Able to recognize problem situations and refer them to the appropriate staff member

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills required
• Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with advanced computer skills preferred

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good verbal skills in the English language
• Excellent telephone skills
• Ability to learn and use all equipment necessary to perform job
• Advanced PC skills including data entry
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, stressful environment
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and CPT codes
• Accurate grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills

Pay

Schedule

First shift, Monday through Friday. Hours are variable with holiday rotation requirement.
