Our well-staffed team includes receptionists, RVTs, and experienced veterinary assistants supporting our DVMs. We prioritize a welcoming and positive culture, maintaining work/life balance while delivering exceptional care. Our hospital offers comprehensive small animal medical services, including Urgent Care available Monday through Saturday from noon to 10 PM.
We are a well-equipped hospital with in-house laboratory machines (CBC, Chemistry, Sedivue, InvueDx, aPTT/PTT), an electrosurgery unit, a well-stocked pharmacy (both in-clinic and online via VetCove), digital radiography, and access to local radiologists for diagnostic ultrasounds. Responsibilities
- Be the Director of First Impressions: Manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care.
- Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: Maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly.
- Advocate for Pet Health: Educate clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet receives the best care possible.
- Embody Compassion and Empathy: Be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.
Requirements
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
- Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
- A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $15-$18 per hour based on experience.
