Receptionist - Providence Anchorage
About the role
Provides assistance, directions and instructions to visitors, patients and the general public regarding hospital/patient information.
Responsibilities
- Greets visitors and patients, directing them to appropriate departments or staff members.
- Answers phones and directs calls to appropriate personnel.
- Processes registration and admission paperwork.
- Handles correspondence and requests from visitors and patients.
- Assists with scheduling appointments and managing appointment calendars.
- Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of reception area.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- 6 months of experience in a hospital, medical office or related situation
Qualifications
- Preferred coursework/Training: Hospitality/Customer Service
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic computer skills

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 hours per week.
