Position Responsibilities
- Welcomeing and greeting all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone.
- Accurately updating patient demographics.
- Facilitating patient flow by notifying the health care team of patients' arrival, delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff.
- Preparing and assembling charts for the next day.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in the healthcare setting is preferred.
- Prior customer service experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and computer skills.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, as well as communicate and interact with patients and their families clearly and effectively.
