About the role

The Receptionist at Waynesville Family Practice serves as the primary point of contact for the department, supporting administrative tasks, customer service, and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the department, assisting patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and organized manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, ensuring inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately.
  • Cook up and schedule appointments to support smooth daily operations and optimal resource use.
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Maintain an organized, professional, and efficient reception area.
  • Aid departmental staff with clerical and non-technical tasks as needed to support workflow.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, responding to questions and concerns with care and accuracy.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in administrative support, customer service, or front-desk roles is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • Comfortable using office software and scheduling systems.
  • Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused.
  • Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications
