About the role
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff. The receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment while handling a variety of administrative and front desk duties.
Responsibilities
- Handle a multi-line phone system
- Mail handling, data entry, filing and recording keeping
- Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for residents
- Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months of related experience
Qualifications
- Customer Service and Communication: Friendly and professional demeanor, patience, empathy, active listening skills, and clear communication
- Supportive Presence: Creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents
- Teamwork: Ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents
