Receptionist (CSC)
About the role
At Banfield, our Client Service Coordinators are the heartbeat of the hospital. As the first friendly face and voice our clients experience, you help create a welcoming, compassionate environment where pets and their people feel cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
Responsibilities
- Create a warm, positive first impression for every client and pet
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to support high-quality care
- Check clients in and out efficiently while reviewing services and estimates
- Answer phones, respond to questions, and educate clients on Banfield wellness plans
- Handle payments and maintain accurate medical and client records
- Support veterinarians and technicians to ensure smooth daily operations
- Advocate for pets and help clients understand the value of preventive care
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray) and exposure to radioactive substances
- One year related experience and with customer service required
- Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred

Pay
The pay range for this role is $15.00 - $18.69 Hourly. The pay range listed reflects a general hiring range for the area, with the specific rate determined based on the candidate’s experience, skill level, and education, and may vary depending on location or applicable minimum wage laws.
Schedule
Full-time (FT) Associates are eligible for all benefit programs (Student Debt Program available for FT DVMs only); Part-time Associates are eligible for those benefits with an asterisk (*).
