Experience
At least (1) year experience working with a multi-phone system. Preferably in a nursing home setting. Must be very pleasant and professional.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients, visitors, families with a positive, helpful attitude; provide exceptional customer service
- Provides assistance and guidance to visitors, directing them to various locations
- Ensures visitors are checking in and out of the building
- Gets identification from agency, vendor visitors
- Answering phones for a multi-line phone system
- Answers, forwards, and returns calls in a timely manner
- Fields calls from Families, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Patients, Physicians, etc.
- Takes and dispatches emergency and non-emergency messages
- Remains pleasant and professional with callers, and calm under pressure
- Works hand in hand with coworkers
- Checks office voicemail, returns calls and forwards to other team members as necessary
- Enters resident demographics into Point Click Care
- Maintains client account information
- Handles Protected Health Information
- Aid in the processing of AP invoices and payments including coding, filing, data entry
- Scans and stores documents into document management systems or databases
- Sends information to Corporate Accounts Payable as applicable
- Distributes mail/package deliveries throughout office
- Monitor Roam Alert alarms and respond in accordance with policy and procedure
- Responds to emergency calls following established protocol
- Communicates effectively during routine and emergency situations
- Ensures that the lobby is maintained in an orderly and clean manner
- Performs duties in a safe manner
- Demonstrates an attitude of cooperation and professionalism when dealing with peers and supervisors
- Adheres to all aspects of Customer Service, some examples include the following: Working together, showing empathy, courteous communication, respect for others
- Perform other related duties as required
