Responsibilities
- Aid in document management and file organization for both physical and digital documents.
- Create and prepare binders for attorneys, including cover sheets, table of contents, and inserting exhibit tabs.
- Prepare files for new matters as assigned.
- Support attorneys and staff with various in-office administrative tasks.
- Operate a multi-line telephone system and greet clients and guests professionally.
- Tackle daily incoming and outgoing mail.
- Scan and copy documents as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of office experience.
- Previous law firm experience preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledgeable in operating standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, postage machines, and scanners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
