Receptionist

Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy - South Salem is seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our team. This role provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks that support the effective and efficient operation of the clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate staff
• Answer the phone and appropriately route calls
• Schedule and confirm new and returning patient appointments
• Minimize cancellations and empty appointment slots
• Collect co-payments at time of service and collect patient insurance and privacy forms
• Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
• Educate patients about their insurance and how physical therapy treatment plans work
• Assist with physical therapy aide duties, when applicable
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by your leadership

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Interest in Exercise Science, Sports Performance, and Fitness preferred
• Students pursuing a physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree program are strongly preferred
