Receptionist
Therapeutic Associates Physical Therapy - South Salem is seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our team. This role provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks that support the effective and efficient operation of the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate staff
- Answer the phone and appropriately route calls
- Schedule and confirm new and returning patient appointments
- Minimize cancellations and empty appointment slots
- Collect co-payments at time of service and collect patient insurance and privacy forms
- Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
- Educate patients about their insurance and how physical therapy treatment plans work
- Assist with physical therapy aide duties, when applicable
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by your leadership
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Interest in Exercise Science, Sports Performance, and Fitness preferred
- Students pursuing a physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree program are strongly preferred
