Receptionist
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, employees, and vendors in a courteous manner and direct them to the appropriate contacts or meeting areas.
- Manage a multi-line phone system by answering incoming calls promptly, screening inquiries, and routing calls to the correct departments.
- Maintain an orderly front desk area and support an organized office atmosphere throughout the day.
- Aid with scheduling, message taking, and other routine administrative tasks to support daily business operations.
- Cook up catering arrangements for meetings and office events, including delivery timing and setup needs.
- Monitor visitor access procedures and help ensure front office activities follow company protocols.
- Provide timely support for inbound communication requests while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a receptionist or front desk support role.
- Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard or phone system with confidence and accuracy.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented phone presence.
- Experience handling inbound calls and directing messages efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a part-time reception capacity if business needs require schedule flexibility.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage front desk duties and administrative support tasks simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating catering or meeting support services is preferred.
