Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist residents, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately.
- Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with facility security and infection control protocols.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting spaces as needed.
- Aid with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as requested.
- Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills are expected.
- A compassionate and professional demeanor, especially when interacting with elderly residents and their families, is important.
