Position Summary

The Receptionist plays a key role in creating a positive and professional experience for clients, visitors, and employees. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the overall success of the organization through strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients, visitors, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Manage front desk operations and maintain a welcoming reception area.
  • Schedule appointments and assist with calendar management.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and packages.
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Respond to general inquiries and route requests to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain accurate records and office information.
  • Support office events and other administrative projects as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training preferred.
  • One to two years of receptionist, administrative, customer service, or front desk experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a professional office environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
