About the role
Circus Construction Inc. (CCI), dba KDC Construction, seeks a Receptionist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate brings a cooperative spirit to their team and neighboring departments, understands the importance of contributing to the company's success, and is committed to seeing beyond current business modes and methods.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients, visitors, and guests courteously and direct or escort them to the appropriate location.
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to staff.
- Receive and distribute mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries.
- Prepare overnight packages and order, stock, and organize office and break room supplies.
- Ensure front office and shared spaces remain clean and organized, including loading/unloading the dishwasher and wiping down counters and tables as needed.
- Assist with data entry, scanning, and document processing and tracking.
- Provide administrative and clerical support tasks to various departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
- Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft Software Suite.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to identify a need, remove barriers, and know how to make things happen.
- Values diversity of ideas, opinions, and people.
- Has good common sense and applies logic.
- Must possess or be able to obtain an appropriate state driver’s license before employment, along with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
