What this job involves
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment that reflects JLL's commitment to excellence. This role involves managing front desk operations, handling administrative tasks, and supporting day-to-day office functions within a regulated pharmaceutical setting. As the face of the facility, you'll create positive first impressions while maintaining security compliance and operational efficiency. Your role directly contributes to smooth workplace operations and enhances the experience of everyone who interacts with our facility.
What your day-to-day will look like
- Enthusiastically greet, host, and provide support to guests, visitors, and employees, creating memorable experiences with a warm, welcoming personality
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails with professionalism and accuracy
- Maintain visitor logs and issue badges in compliance with company security and regulatory policies
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Respond to requests for information and communicate effectively with all levels of management with minimal supervision
- Order and manage all office and shipping supplies to ensure operational continuity
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers while handling any additional duties and tasks assigned
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma, state equivalent, or GED equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally at all levels
- Demonstrated customer service excellence and a "can-do" attitude
- Proven ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions
- Physical ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Strong team player with collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of previous customer service-related experience
- Working knowledge of access control systems, including granting and restricting visitor access
- Experience working in regulated environments such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, or corporate facilities
