We're seeking a friendly and organized individual to serve as the first point of contact for our Branch Office in Coeur d'Alene. As a Receptionist/Clerk, you'll provide top-notch customer service to clients, landlords, and partner agencies, while supporting our Rental Assistance team with administrative tasks. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to program inquiries, and refer calls as needed
- Process and distribute incoming mail, and maintain accurate and up-to-date files
- Auxiliary the public with completing pre-applications, scheduling appointments, and uploading documents
- Update system information and perform data entry tasks to support Rental Assistance team
- Provide administrative and clerical support to Housing Specialists and Inspectors
- Prepare and review rental assistance documentation, including RFTA forms and leases
- Manage and process tenant payments, ensuring accurate receipting and posting
- Other job duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of administrative or clerical experience preferred
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Proficient typing skills, with a preferred speed of 65 words per minute
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong ability to schedule, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively
