Job Summary
Goodwill is a non-profit organization providing job training, skill development and employment opportunities for people facing challenges to successful employment. Goodwill collaborates with many community partners to make these opportunities possible. The Receptionist assists the staff in the planning and implementation of administrative functions including the greeting of visitors, handling of logs, managing communications and directing personnel.
Essential Functions
- Performs office management duties, including paging, scanning/faxing/copying etc.
- Staff support including scheduling, visitor orientation, introduction etc.
- Aids with special projects as needed.
- Provides support for shred customers.
- Acts as Goodwill Ambassador striving to facilitate a welcoming environment for visitors and enabling a positive experience.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- One year of prior experience is required.
- Strong computer skills, excellent communication, interpersonal time management and organizational skills are required.
Additional Responsibilities
- Understands recipient rights and the confidentiality of our consumers.
- Safety: Maintain applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations in areas of responsibility. Performs job duties in a safe manner and assures safe environment for people by maintaining a clean and orderly work area and using proper lifting techniques.
