Receptionist
About the role
GGRC is seeking a Front Desk Associate to handle initial interactions and support for visitors and calls at their San Francisco headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Open or close the office/Front Desk for business hours.
- Answer, address, assist, and direct incoming phone calls, voice messages, or inquiries.
- Courteously greet and assist incoming visitors.
- Create and distribute SF Out-of-office/Officer of the Day notifications.
- Track and Distribute SF Staff Parking Vouchers.
- Track and Distribute Temporary Badges.
- Review and forward incoming faxes from our general fax line.
- Run visitor reports and assist building security desks with unexpected drop-in visitors.
- Maintain and organize GGRC reception area/waiting room for cleanliness.
- Receive or assist with incoming deliveries or packages and out-going delivery or package pick-up.
- Provide front desk coverage for Board of Director meetings.
- Serve as phone back-up to other GGRC office front desk staff.
- Aid with SF Conference or Meeting Room reservations.
- Aid with visitor registrations as needed.
- Sort or process daily mail as needed.
- Additionally perform tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years in an office setting with front desk reception, office assistant, or customer service oriented duties.

Desired Qualifications
- Coursework in Office Administration or related areas.
- Experience in multi-cultural settings.
- Bilingual capacity, particularly English/Spanish or English/Cantonese.
