Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome residents, families, visitors, and vendors with a warm and professional demeanor
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and timely manner
- Manage the front desk, including signing visitors in and out
- Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and mail distribution
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate records
- Aid with basic clerical support for nursing and administrative staff
- Maintain security by monitoring the entrance and ensuring facility security protocols are followed
- Provide excellent customer service at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting (preferred but not required)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly, positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and handle a busy front desk environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
- Pass a background check and drug screening
