About the Role
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization. They will contribute to the efficiency of the business by providing personalized and timely support to executive members.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests; determine the purpose of each person’s visit and direct or escort them to the appropriate location.
- Answer, screen, and direct calls to appropriate parties; take messages and schedule appointments.
- Act as a point of contact among executives, employees, clients, and other external partners.
- Direct office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Schedule interviews as needed for hiring managers.
- Maintain and distribute phone lists.
- Receive mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and deliver or distribute items.
- Keep up with office supply inventory and replenish supplies in break rooms.
- Maintain appearance and organization of the lobby and break rooms.
- Maintain inventory and order breakroom and janitorial supplies.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and issue swag.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in office administration or related field preferred.
- At least one year of administrative and clerical experience required.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Working Conditions
- Work is generally performed within an indoor office environment utilizing standard office equipment.
- General office environment requiring frequent sitting, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse, walking and standing for long periods of time, and lifting of less than 20 pounds.
- Travel is not required.
