Receptionist
About the role
The Construction Services Practice at Michael Baker International supports clients through all phases of construction, requiring innovative ideas to maintain and deliver successful projects. They are seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to support daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and track sign-in sheets for visitors
- Ushering visitors to the appropriate locations of professional staff
- Hang Tag/Hard Hat Sticker issuance and tracking
- Answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate MDTA/Contractor Personnel
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Cooking and managing distribution, return, and inventory of PPE
- Attending meetings and recording meeting minutes
- Maintaining an organized, functional, and welcoming PMO environment
- Maintaining an office inventory log, ordering supplies, and keeping supplies fully stocked
- Providing administrative support to other departments as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of Project Management Office (PMO) Layout and Organizational Structure
- Must have knowledge of MDTA/Contractor Personnel and Departmental Functions: Executive, Key/Management, Field/Inspection, Engineering (GEC), Construction (CMI), Environmental, Safety, Document Control, Interns
- Must have daily Operations and Meeting Schedules

Pay
The approximate compensation range for this position is $22/hr - $25/hr. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
