Receptionist
PA Peterson at the Citadel is seeking a Receptionist to assist the Administrator and other key personnel in managing incoming calls and schedules. The Receptionist greets employees, residents, and guests professionally while maintaining security.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with Concierge and other departments to ensure communication when there is a visitor in the facility.
- Answers all calls coming into the facility in a professional manner and tone, transferring and routing appropriately.
- Oversees all mail in facility, including sorting and distributing mail.
- Efficiently contacts appropriate staff members with referrals, ensuring all referral-related calls reach the right party promptly.
- Performs basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties.
- May assist Business Office Manager with accounts payable receipts.
- Welcomes and provides link to online application to job seekers.
- Sends emails and faxes.
- May input admission or patient information into the computer system as required.
- All other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One or more years of prior work experience handling receptionist responsibilities is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
Physical Requirements
- Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling (with or without mechanical aids).
- Ability to distinguish smells and temperatures.
- Limited potential for exposure to environmental hazards.
- Understanding and adherence to company safety standards and protocols required.
