Receptionist
Qualifications
- Professional and friendly demeanor in both English and Spanish

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors professionally
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls promptly
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges when required
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
- Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and conference room use
- Provide clerical support, such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry
- Provide assistance or coverage at various locations or events
- Assist with special projects and events as assigned
- Maintain reception area cleanliness and ensure a professional and welcoming environment
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory for front desk and common areas
- Represent the organization with courtesy, professionalism, and discretion
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and agency goals
General Purpose of Job
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for Children’s Network of Hillsborough, providing a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, families, and community partners. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, directing inquiries, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient office operations. The Receptionist plays an essential role in representing the organization with professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality while supporting the agency’s mission to serve children and families in our community.
Working Hours
Children’s Network of Hillsborough’s standard business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position is an in-office based position that averages 40 hours per week. Work hours may vary outside of these standard hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet operational demands. All hours worked will be compensated in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and agency policies, including applicable overtime and other compensation requirements.
Training
All employees are required to complete fifteen (15) hours of training annually, which may be completed online or in a classroom setting. Employees who hold a credential or license relevant to their position must ensure that all training and continuing education requirements are met to maintain their credential or licensure.
Supervisory Responsibilities
