Receptionist

About the Role
The Receptionist will serve as the welcoming face of the Betterment office, ensuring a positive experience for all employees and visitors. This role requires proactive initiative, strong organizational skills, and a professional demeanor to manage the reception area and support office operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and announce clients, candidates, and visitors to Betterment.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming presence for employees, vendors, and guests.
- Open, maintain, and close the reception area, ensuring organization at all times.
- Direct visitors, onboard new hires, and set up security credentials for employees.
- Troubleshoot access issues and ensure compliance with security and safety procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks, assist with company events, and manage incoming mail and packages.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role.
- Punctuality and ability to work in-office five days per week.
- Strong presence, confidence, and professional demeanor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passion for client service and interacting with diverse groups.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple initiatives.

Pay
New York City: $55,000 - $60,000 base salary range. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and performance.
