Beacon Hill is hiring! Our client, a non-profit organization supporting women in the St. Louis area is looking for a contract Receptionist to start immediately. This is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact while supporting a wonderful mission!ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers during evening and weekend hoursGreet guests warmly and provide a welcoming, professional front-desk experienceAnswer phones and route calls or inquiries to appropriate staff or departmentsSupport the mission of the nonprofit by providing excellent customer service to a diverse communityPerform basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling support, and mail handlingMonitor building access, follow security procedures, and report concerns as neededCommunicate key information to daytime staff to ensure continuity of operationsMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionWork independently and manage multiple priorities during quieter evening hoursRequirementsAvailability to work from 8am-4:30pm on 7/15, 7/16, 7/20, 7/21, 7/22, 7/23, and 7/27.Prior receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsReliable, punctual, and professional demeanorAbility to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced or client-facing environmentComfort using basic office technology, including phones, email, and Microsoft Office or similar toolsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience working in a nonprofit or community-focused organization is a plus Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
