Receptionist
The Receptionist role provides front desk and administrative support in a professional office environment. The position focuses on greeting and assisting visitors, managing incoming calls, and performing a variety of clerical tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Greet visitors, assist with registration, and manage check-in procedures.
- Provide general reception and front desk support to staff and visitors.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming front-office environment at all times.
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and handling mail.
- Cookinate communication between visitors, callers, and internal staff as appropriate.
- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Essential Skills
- At least one year of experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service or administrative support role.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with standard office applications.
- Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and courtesy.
- Able to multitask effectively in a front-office environment.
- Able to maintain a calm, professional demeanor when handling multiple priorities.
- High school diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience providing receptionist customer service in a professional office setting.
- Experience in administrative support or office coordination.
- Comfort working with a variety of visitors, callers, and internal stakeholders.
Work Environment
This is a 3–4 month contract position based fully on-site in Slater, IA. The role operates in a professional front-office environment where the receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers. You will work at a reception desk using standard office equipment and computer applications to support daily operations. The position requires consistent on-site presence during regular business hours and maintaining a neat, professional appearance appropriate for a front desk setting.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $15.00/hr.
