Receptionist
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide accurate information to visitors and callers, and answer the telephone or console switchboard promptly and efficiently.
- Receive and send packages via couriers, ensuring proper documentation and timely handling.
- Maintain a detailed visitor log and call record, ensuring accurate tracking of all guests and inquiries.
- Issue and manage security passes and badges for visitors in accordance with office procedures.
- Perform general clerical functions such as typing, filing, and data entry to support daily office operations.
- Monitor and support boardroom equipment, ensuring it is functional and ready for use during meetings.
- Handle information requests and assist with basic research or data gathering as needed to support office activities.
- Organize and maintain documents and information in a structured and confidential manner.
- Manage time effectively to balance front-desk responsibilities with administrative tasks.

- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–2 years of related experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role.

- Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of calls and visitors with professionalism and composure.
- Experience supporting office functions such as photocopying, binding documents, and preparing mailers.
- Comfort using office equipment and technology, including telephone systems and basic office machines.
- Attention to detail when maintaining logs, records, and schedules.
- Willingness to support a variety of administrative tasks as business needs evolve.
Work Environment
This position is based on-site in Charleston, SC, in a professional office environment. The role involves working at a reception desk and using standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, printers, photocopiers, and binding machines. The receptionist works during regular business hours, supporting front-desk operations and administrative activities throughout the day, and contributes to a welcoming and organized workplace.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $15.00/hr.
