About the Role

The Receptionist manages the front office area and provides administrative support to all campus departments.

Responsibilities

  • Answering telephones, greeting visitors, and providing general clerical support
  • Data entry as required
  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Operating and maintaining office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, and computers
  • Prioritizing and quickly resolving issues
  • Processing multiple types of information and performing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Reporting and managing daily, weekly, and monthly enrollment activities
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, particularly over the phone
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • 1 year of administrative work experience
  • Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and database programs (CampusVue preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • 3 years of administrative work experience
