About the role

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff. The receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment while handling a variety of administrative and front desk duties.

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment for visitors, residents, and staff.
  • Handle a variety of administrative and front desk duties including managing a multi-line phone system, mail handling, data entry, filing, and recording keeping.
  • Provide customer service and communication skills, including patience, empathy, active listening, and clear communication.
  • Support a supportive presence and create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
  • Work towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months of related experience.
