Jobs search Receptionist and Safety Monitor Friends Select School Part-time Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States 5d ago Friends Select School is seeking a friendly, reliable, and safety-conscious Receptionist and Safety Monitor to help maintain a welcoming and secure school environment. This part-time position will serve as a key point of contact for students, families, employees, and visitors during afternoon and early evening hours. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30PM - 6:00PM when School is in session. Additional hours may be available in the evening and on weekends occasionally. Duties And Responsibilities Greet and assist students, families, employees, and visitorsMonitor the school entrance and manage visitor access in accordance with school safety protocolsScreen and direct visitors and oversee security camera feedsMaintain knowledge of school programs, personnel, scheduled events, and emergency procedures to appropriately direct visitorsSupport afternoon dismissal and other school events as neededRespond appropriately to safety, security, emergency, and medical situationsReport facility or safety concerns to the appropriate personPerform basic reception and administrative duties as directed by the Supervisor Desired Qualifications Minimum high school diploma or GED requiredExperience in security, facilities management, or operations Friendly, professional, and attentiveStrong communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsFamiliarity with safety protocols and emergency proceduresAbility to monitor security systems and enforce visitor policiesProficiency in basic computer applications and administrative tasksReliable, proactive, and able to work independently or with others This is a part-time hourly position. The pay range for this position is $20-$23 per hour.
