Responsibilities
- Answering switchboard lines
- Assessing phone calls and transferring to appropriate program staff
- Handling diverse clientele seeking social services with patience and good judgement
- Processing client payments and recording transactions accurately
- Processing Incident Reports and other administrative duties as requested
- Conducting building opening and closing lock-up procedures as schedule requires
- Enduring compliance with front office procedures, security, and policy
- Adapting quickly and applying understanding of agency policies and procedures to situations necessitating discretion or escalation
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish
- Exhibit a professional and pleasant demeanor
- Minimum 12-months experience
- Demonstrate high attention to detail
- Must be trustworthy, reliable and dependable
- Must be computer proficient and able to quickly learn agency-specific computer applications, policies, procedures and programs

Pay
Salary: $21.00 per hour
Schedule
Position schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:45 am - 4:00 pm with occasional evenings 4:00 - 8:00 pm, only when coverage is necessary.
