Reception Teaching Assistant, RIBBONS AND REEVES

The Role

A reception teaching assistant role paying £90-95 per day PAYE. Full-time, term-time only contract from September 2026.

Excellent opportunity for a core subject, Education Studies or related graduate who wants to gain school-based experience before teacher training.

Learn on the job in a well-run infant school where behaviour is good and pupils are keen to learn.

Work in Brent, HA3, supporting Reception pupils with phonics, early maths, communication, routines and learning through play.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working with children aged 2-11.
• A degree in a core subject, Education Studies, Psychology, Childhood Studies or a related area is desirable.
• Ideal for an aspiring Primary Teacher who wants to build confidence in Reception before progressing into training.
• Reliable, patient, proactive and confident supporting early learning, behaviour and routines.
