- Supporting Science teachers across KS3 and KS4
- Working with small groups to reinforce core scientific concepts
- Assisting with practical lesson preparation and supporting pupils safely
- Tracking pupil progress and feeding back to class teacher and Head of Science
- Building enthusiastic, encouraging relationships with pupils
Science Teaching Assistant - What the School is Looking For
- The ideal candidate holds a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university in any Science or STEM discipline
- Previous child-centred experience in a UK educational setting
- Curious, proactive, and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication skills and passion for Science education
Science Teaching Assistant - Salary and Contract Info
- £480 per week, pro rata to term time only
- Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
- Term-time only
