Reception/Administrative Assistant (Part-time)

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the reception area each day.
  • Balance the cash drawer and prepare deposits accurately.
  • Organize and reconcile parts and service transactions.
  • Record and track transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Process payments, make change accurately, and issue customer receipts as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department promptly.
  • Greet customers in person and over the phone with a friendly, professional attitude.
  • Handle customer concerns courteously and refer issues to the appropriate team member for resolution.
  • Operate a multi-line switchboard telephone system.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Communicate professionally while minimizing caller’s wait times.
  • Aid managers with a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Learn dealership departments and internal procedures to efficiently assist customers and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate customers' interests, needs, and requests to management and personnel.
  • Available to work PM shifts as needed.
  • Professional personal appearance.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
