Job Description
The MIP (Meld- en informatiepunt) at Humanitas Groningen is looking for a new face to greet visitors and handle inquiries at their reception. The center receives numerous visitors daily at the Akerkhof location, and there are also many people who contact Humanitas through phone calls, emails, or in person. Your role involves addressing a variety of concerns, such as a caregiver overwhelmed by patient care, someone seeking help with Dutch language learning, someone needing social support after a difficult period, a student looking for a placement, or a visitor seeking information about the Steun bij verlies project.
Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming atmosphere to visitors and callers
- Listen to their story and clarify their question
- Offer information about Humanitas Groningen's activities
- Handle light administrative tasks like processing HRS (Humanitas Registration System) requests and attending meetings
- Participate in bi-weekly team meetings
Requirements
- Minimum one flexible day per week availability
- Willingness to commit to a long-term relationship with the friendly and involved team
- Characterized by stability, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to ask questions, listen, and not make quick judgments
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Good internet search skills
- Comfortable working digitally
