Recent Grad/Alumni - Project Engineer I
About the role
This position supports the project team on smaller, less complex projects in the following locations: Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; Los Lunas, NM; Cheyenne, WY; Salt Lake City, UT; and El Paso, TX.
Responsibilities
- Estimates the impact of project changes and provides information to applicable management
- Manages change orders, ensuring they are completed accurately and tracked as required
- Procures equipment, materials, and services; participates in the selection and hiring of subcontractors
- Stays current on emerging trends
- Analyzes and resolves basic questions and problems as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Basic ERP skills, including inquiring, reviewing, and printing job cost reports
- Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing design
- Basic verbal and written communications skills
- Basic computer skills, including CADD and Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel)
