Receiving Supervisor

About the role

The Receiving Supervisor at Sanmina Corporation is responsible for overseeing the receiving of materials and finished goods for a Customer's suppliers. Key responsibilities include ensuring materials are received according to specifications, verifying conformance with Customer's receiving process, resolving discrepancies, scheduling carrier deliveries, maintaining inventory control, and managing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Ensures materials are received according to specification
• Verifies goods received are in conformance with Customer's receiving process, identifying and flagging discrepancies for resolution
• Drives the resolution of Receiving Non-conformances from different stakeholders within 48 hours
• Works with carriers to schedule materials delivery and ensure handling meets customer requirements
• Maintains documentation reflecting the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function
• Oversees staff in physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving process
• Works with personnel to ensure compliance with facility policies including quality, safety, conduct, and attendance
• Affirm process adherence to required controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• At least 5 years of experience managing processes and people on any of the key warehouse flow functions, materials handling, receiving, MRB, stockroom, inventory control, shipping
• Proficient with ERP (Oracle, Net suite or SAP), Microsoft Office, desirably with Google Suite
• Minimum 5 years of supervisor experience
• Cranking and overpacking experience preferred
• FedEx, UPS, International shipments, and commercial invoices experience preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Team player and capable of interacting with multiple groups both internally and externally
• Flexible with schedule changes and willing to work extended hours when required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
