Position Responsibilities
- Scans, uploads, files, and maintains vendor documentation and inspection records within company systems
- Captures and coordinates Priority Inspection requests, including locating, staging, and organizing material for inspection
- Aids with ERP transactions, purchase order corrections, Return to Vendor (RTV) activities, and material tracking
- Supports calibration and tooling sweeps and helps maintain organization of inspection equipment and the Receiving Inspection area
- Aids with inspection logs, daily status tracking, inventory searches, and material movement as needed
- Performs basic COTS receiving inspections after training and progressively learns the use of inspection tools, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
- Progressively expands inspection skills through training in electrical harnesses, PCB/PCBA, mechanical components, and other aerospace hardware
- Develops familiarity with applicable aerospace workmanship and quality requirements, including AS9100 and relevant IPC requirements, as applicable to assigned inspections
- Maintains cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards within the Receiving Inspection area
- Performs additional duties as assigned in support of Receiving Inspection operations
Qualifications
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems
- Capable of lifting 20lbs or more on a frequent basis
- Ability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaks
