Receiving Quality Inspector B (First Shift) - Millennium Space Systems

Position Responsibilities

• Scans, uploads, files, and maintains vendor documentation and inspection records within company systems
• Captures and coordinates Priority Inspection requests, including locating, staging, and organizing material for inspection
• Aids with ERP transactions, purchase order corrections, Return to Vendor (RTV) activities, and material tracking
• Supports calibration and tooling sweeps and helps maintain organization of inspection equipment and the Receiving Inspection area
• Aids with inspection logs, daily status tracking, inventory searches, and material movement as needed
• Performs basic COTS receiving inspections after training and progressively learns the use of inspection tools, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
• Progressively expands inspection skills through training in electrical harnesses, PCB/PCBA, mechanical components, and other aerospace hardware
• Develops familiarity with applicable aerospace workmanship and quality requirements, including AS9100 and relevant IPC requirements, as applicable to assigned inspections
• Maintains cleanliness, organization, and 5S standards within the Receiving Inspection area
• Performs additional duties as assigned in support of Receiving Inspection operations

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems
• Capable of lifting 20lbs or more on a frequent basis
• Ability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaks
