Receiving Material Handler

About the role

FilterEasy, LLC is a leading manufacturer and direct-to-consumer distributor of air and water filter products. The subscription-based service eliminates the stress of remembering when to change filters in the home to maintain healthy air and drinking water. The Material Handler II is responsible for moving materials within a warehouse or storage facility using hand trucks, Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), and hand-held scanning devices. This position may require a high school diploma and typically reports to a supervisor or manager while working under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.

Responsibilities

• Swiftly move materials between workstations and inventory using pallet jacks, carts and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT)
• Accurately perform systematic inventory transactions using a computer or handheld device
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area and ensure equipment and machinery remain clean throughout the shift
• Execute any other assigned duties promptly and effectively

Requirements

• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) experience
• Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced, occasionally stressful environments
• Precise adherence to written and verbal directives
• Flexibility to adjust to production requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years of general work experience

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting at a workstation
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
