About the role
Arcadia Beverage is a pasteurized cold-fill contract packager of non-alcoholic, non-carbonated beverages for major retailers and food-service distributors. We produce ready-to-drink orange juices, lemonades, and teas in bottles. This position is a 2nd-shift Receiving Material Handler role based in Arden, NC.
Schedule
Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM.
Responsibilities
- Determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed by reading work orders or requisitions.
- Transport materials and items from receiving or production areas to designated areas.
- Sort and place materials or items on shelves in a pre-determined sequence (type, style, product code, lot).
- Mark materials with identifying information.
- Use ERP system to enter data.
- Prepare and take periodic cycle-count inventory.
- Identify damaged materials.
Requirements
- Forklift certification or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and/or RF scanning.
- Prior material-handler experience is a plus.
