About the role

The Receiving Lead supports the Operations Manager/General Operations Manager by leading, guiding, and directing a group of associates to meet daily departmental goals in Safety, Service, Quality, and Cost. This position is located in Litchfield Park, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Share business information through floor presence
  • Collaborate with other department Leads/Operations Managers to assist and trade resources as needed
  • Suggest improvements to current techniques
  • Train and direct a team of associates to achieve departmental production goals
  • Control workflow on the floor, prioritizing team goals to meet deadlines
  • Track productivity, research and resolve issues, and provide feedback on performance
  • Promote safety awareness and cultivate a safety culture
  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to multi-task and maintain extreme attention to detail in communications and documentation
  • Basic math skills (addition and subtraction)
  • Able to take initiative and work with minimal direction
  • Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team
  • Available to work overtime and flexible schedules
  • Available to work in various departments and buildings as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of work experience in high-volume distribution or manufacturing
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems

Physical Requirements

  • Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders
  • Ability to climb stairs and/or walk 100% of the day
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds

Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
