Real-time analysis, coordination, and balance of Receiving Operations, including task allocation to team members. Direct support for DC Receiving Managers within standard policies and procedures, with opportunities for unreviewed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Record and report inbound deliveries.
- Provide support in reporting, researching, and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner.
- Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Provide administrative support for the Receiving Managers.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge and understanding of all needed systems.
- Support put-away and unloading operations as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
- Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP, and Red Prairie.
- Detail oriented and accurate.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trends and patterns in productivity data.
- Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of distribution center and warehouse operations.
- Strong leadership skills and capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize trends or patterns in productivity data.
Physical Demands
- Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
- Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions.
- Standing, walking, lifting, and arranging product: 90%
- Sitting: 5%
- Desk or phone work: 5%
Pay
Starting hourly pay at $21.00 - $24.00/hour (based on experience).
