Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain company inspection reports
- Inspect goods or products according to quality and safety standards across all stages of production
- Ensure company tools and equipment are calibrated and working correctly
- Report quality anomalies to the supervisor
- Collate test data and draft quality reports
- Identify possible areas for improvement in quality control processes and implement new methods accordingly
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Urgent communication of quality, safety, or compliance concerns
- Communicate project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership
- Implement and maintain agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
- Perform additional job duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED, plus ten (10) years of inspection experience
- Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions
- Track record of delivering outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Uses good judgement to problem-solve proactively, positively impacting hard challenges
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
- Advanced experience with Quality Inspection Tools
- Executes priorities with precision and pace
- High EQ and ability to collaborate within teams and cross-functionally
- Tech-savvy in using systems and tools to move faster and smarter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Exemplifies resourceful, adaptable behavior
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
- Applicant selected may be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Work may involve sitting for extended periods
- May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lb
- Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of test facilities where necessary
- Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical
- Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
- Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation
- Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
- This position may require some commuting and traveling to other installations as needed

- Previous Aerospace experience
- GD&T experience
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
