Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks
- Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents
- Records factors causing goods to be returned
- Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage
- Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
