Receiver I Yard/Warehouse
About the role
Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks. Examines shipments for defects and shortages against receiving documents, records factors causing goods to be returned, unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage, and forwards approved receiving documents to the appropriate department for processing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
