Receiver / Forklift Operator - 3rd shift - Gratz, PA

About the Role

This position is responsible for duties related to receiving, cataloging, and organization of materials used for production purposes, as well as the preparation of materials for the shop floor. The role operates on a 3rd shift schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Replenish manufacturing lines with requested material and file appropriate paperwork.
• Empty gaylords and dumpsters and complete paperwork.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Verify quantities of material received against packing slip.
• Place incoming material in designated area.
• Communicate with Receiving Supervisor and Buyer/Planners to ensure adequate inventory levels.
• Complete cycle counting.
• Data entry – receiving and transfer of product in SB Client (ERP system).
• Scanning – take bar code labels from Buyer/Planners and place on product as it is received.
• Use hand-held scanners to receive and transfer inventory items.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three to six months of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Possess a valid driver license.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft software.
• ERP system experience or willingness to learn.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Required to obtain powered industrial truck license and additional training on moving baskets and glass.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Occasionally push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.

Pay

Starting pay rate of $22.65 per hour, plus a $1.50 shift differential.
