Receiver - Blue Box Café by Daniel Boulud - Costa Mesa

Job Summary

The Receiver at Blue Box Café by Daniel Boulud in Costa Mesa is responsible for organizing, receiving, and checking all inventory from outside purveyors, and supervising the receiving team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ordering and receiving of goods, familiarity with purchase orders required
• Check items requested/received for accuracy
• Complete daily checklists - FIFO, Labelled accurately
• Maintain and ensure that storage and walk-ins are clean and organized
• Receive goods in response to product requirements and ensure proper storage
• Collaborate daily with Chefs to coordinate utilization of products on hand
• Receive all food orders with vendors, check, and store

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to details
• Food safety knowledge preferred - Food Handler's Certificate A+
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with internal staff within our restaurants as well as external purveyors
• Full availability- daytime hours, evening hours and weekends
• Reference check

Compensation

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $24.00)
