Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in unloading delivered supplies/items, checking the quality of goods and ensuring the expected items and their amounts are received
  • Properly store delivered items/supplies away
  • Help other team members locate and grab ingredients/supplies as necessary
  • Avoids contamination of food products by following proper sanitation procedures
  • Avoids cross-contamination of food products by using separate equipment and utensils for raw and cooked foods
  • Avoids contamination of food products by cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces after each use
  • Avoids contamination of food products by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Avoids contamination of food products by washing hands before and after handling food
  • Avoids contamination of food products by avoiding contact with food with bare hands
  • Avoids contamination of food products by not smoking or eating in food preparation areas
