Rebuild Maintenance Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Thoroughly inspect mechanical, electrical, or other components to identify wear, damage, or defects.
  • Disassemble complex equipment to access internal parts and replace worn, damaged, or defective components.
  • C Conduct tests and functional checks to verify that repaired or rebuilt components operate correctly and efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, inspections, repairs, parts used, and compliance regulations.
  • Work with managers, engineers, etc. to understand repair requirements, estimate costs, and coordinate work.
  • Follow all safety precautions on repairs to equipment, machinery and tools per MPI’s / OSHA requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years maintenance experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, programmable controller problems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics to perform maintenance and repair.
  • Experience in operating various machining equipment.
  • Ability to travel to various plants, potentially for extended periods of time, with reliable transportation is required.
