ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thoroughly inspect mechanical, electrical, or other components to identify wear, damage, or defects.
- Disassemble complex equipment to access internal parts and replace worn, damaged, or defective components.
- C Conduct tests and functional checks to verify that repaired or rebuilt components operate correctly and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, inspections, repairs, parts used, and compliance regulations.
- Work with managers, engineers, etc. to understand repair requirements, estimate costs, and coordinate work.
- Follow all safety precautions on repairs to equipment, machinery and tools per MPI’s / OSHA requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-10 years maintenance experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, programmable controller problems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics to perform maintenance and repair.
- Experience in operating various machining equipment.
- Ability to travel to various plants, potentially for extended periods of time, with reliable transportation is required.
